One Water

In partnership with Festival Republic and Central Catering Workers Beer Company introduced Global Ethics' One Water to the Reading and Leeds.

One Water is a not-for-profit bottled water which aims to provide clean water to some of the 1 billion people in our world who currently do not have access to clean water. The solution to providing this water is ingenious; play pumps, roundabout powered water pumps. As children play clean water is pumped out of the ground into storage tanks fro use by the community.

It is hoped that One Water's involvement at Reading and Leeds in 2008 will mean three more of these pumps will be installed in communities who desperately need access to clean water.

For the future the Workers Beer Company hopes to further develop its partnership with Global Ethics and One Water.
