  • WBC becomes a stakeholder with Regular Music in the ABC Club, Glasgow (this stake is sold in 2009).
  • Our iconic Left Field Tower showing workers pulling together is unveiled at Glastonbury. The tower was designed by Graham Jobbins and built by former workers from the Appledore shipyard. Tony Benn called it ‘a tower of strength’ and it was re-named the Tony Benn Tower after his death.
